National Museum of US Air Force

Today we visited the Air Force museum

This was one of the boys' favorite planes because it depicted the Doolittle Raid in WWII.

Saying goodbye is so hard!  We were leaving in the wee hours of the morning so tonight was our last night with Ashley and Derek.

Of course Alex chose a very bad lighting area to give hugs and say see you later to mama Ashley.
We had an amazing trip and got to see and experience so many great things. We are so glad we have open adoptions to make things like this possible!

Alex's Birthday, Swimming, and Cox Arboretum

Happy 6th birthday Alex!
We started the day off with a dip in the pool.

The boys had a blast running and jumping into the shallow end of the pool.

They love goofing around together!

Later in the day we went to the Cox Arboretum.  What a beautiful place!
Alex found a caterpillar he wanted to try for dinner.

They were running to attack me, ahh.

We did a little geocaching while there.
It was such a gorgeous night!
The lakes had huge frogs and turtles in them.

 Looking for a frog.

I couldn't help myself getting some shots of these two together.

Daddy teaching the boys how to skip rocks.

Later we bought a pizza and ice cream for Alex's birthday.
This may have been my favorite day in Ohio.
