Arches Day 2

We went to Double Arch today and it was amazing!
Oh, we all got Moab shirts yesterday, so we were sporting them today.  It's one of our traditions.
Next to the Double Arch is this cool cave.  We hiked up into it.
 DJ is a mountain goat!
I love his proud little stance right here.
We can't get enough of God's beautiful creations!
Mommy and Alex hiking up into the cave.
Alex is so proud of himself for hiking, we are proud too!
Hiking back down the steep cave.
 Gotta love that smile!
 Look at him climb!
I couldn't be any prouder of these two hikers!
 Posing under Double Arch.
 It was windy!

Love my boys!
 Under one of the arches.
We stopped for a family shot.
There was a cool dead tree near one of the trails that we had fun in.
Daddy took some great scenic pictures!
Apparently there is an ornery old lady that lives here that yells at people that don't pay the fee to cross her land.
We took a short drive because the boys fell asleep and we wanted them to have a short nap before dinner.  We came across some interesting sites.
This house and garage were made in the rock.

It's fun to see all of the interesting vehicles around Moab.

DJ is a people person!!!  He was running after these pretty girls to chat.

 Silly faces

We are so grateful that we are able to go see the beautiful creations around us.

Arches National Park

We were excited to be in Arches!  We stopped at the visitors center to take a quick potty break.
They have some cool animal sculptures there and had a hard time getting the boys away from there.
We were excited to get hiking!
The boys got on their packs on and were off on the trail.
We checked the compasses often to make sure we were on track.
We stopped and rested too, but if you ask Alex we didn't rest enough.
Silly Boy!
This is a pretty accurate picture of us hiking!  DJ running ahead and someone holding Alex's hand pulling him along.
 Getting close to our destination!
We made it.  DJ is creating his own little arch because that is what he saw someone else doing.
We let someone take a picture of us, but they didn't really know how to use our camera.
We had straps on the boys because it was so steep and wanted to be super safe!
Mommy and one of her buddies!
Daddy took some great picture of Delicate Arch!
We got some selfies on!
It was super windy up on the top at the arch so we hiked back down a little ways and found a great spot to eat lunch.
 Delicious!
On the steep parts we didn't take any chances we put a strap on the boys!
We went to another great arch and climbed up a steep canyon.  Here are the boys in the man pose.
 Alex loved hiking this way!
We had so much fun hiking!
 These boys were great climbers.
This boy was out when we got back in the car!
