Temple Open House

We took grandma with us down to the Provo Temple Open House.  

You hear about stories of kids being horribly behaved and then upon entering the temple they settle down and are little angels.  Not my kids!  They were tired and cranky the entire time.  I am still glad I took them to see this beautiful house of the Lord.

Chicken on the Loose

We have a couple of beautiful ladies that give us breakfast everyday.  Well, one decided to come inside to bring us eggs. 

It was late at night and somehow she got out of the chicken coop.  Our dog went outside and when coming back in through the dog door, we think the chicken was standing right in front of it, and he stumbled in over her and she got caught up in his legs and came inside.

Valentine's Day

 Happy Valentine's Day!  This picture made me laugh.  I love seeing pictures of these two tiny boys.

After getting ready for church DJ made me a valentines.  He knows how to melt his mamas heart!

 Alex decided to use a pre-made valentine for his pictures.

We love on each other every single day, but a day just for 'I Love Yous' is one of our favorite holidays.

Down and Out

Alex came down with a nasty sickness.  Poor little guy was down and out for quite a few days. 

 We did get a couple of funny faces out of him near the end of the sickness.

Adventure Time

We woke up today ready for an adventure.  The boys were really exited because it has been forever since we have gone skiing and we were ready to get up on the mountain.

We were a little nervous because when we walked outside this morning it was bitter cold and windy.  When we got up to the resort it was beautiful!

When getting off of the first ski lift the boys were both crying because they hadn't been skiing in a year and they didn't remember anything.  Luckily for us it took about 1 1/2 runs down the mountain and they had their ski legs back.

We need to get out more on the mountain and do more skiing before this season is over.  DJ asked at the end of the day if he can take more lessons.  Both of the kiddos love this sport.  It is so fun to watch them enjoy something so much and want to learn more and more.
