Halloween Time

We LOVE Halloween!

DJ was super excited to be an Army guy and Alex a ninja.

It was fun trick-or-treating in our new neighborhood.

 We had to take pictures in front of this house because every time we passed it during the month they loved seeing all of the fun decorations.

 Halloween has never been my favorite holiday since I was young, but seeing the happiness and joy in these two little guys eyes sure makes me love this holiday.  

Garth Concert

We got tickets to go the the Garth Brooks concert.  We had so much fun.  This was the boys' first concert and they enjoyed it.  They both became Garth fans tonight!

 This kid can sleep through anything! He lasted one song into the night and was out.  I am not sure how he slept with how loud it was in the arena, but he was out.

Pumpkin Time

We got our pumpkins and the time has come to make them into jack-o-lanterns.

In the past the boys couldn't stand the feel of pumpkin guts, but this year they did a little better.

 So good in fact, Alex contemplated eating them.

 Both boys climbed up on the countertop to dig right in.

Spending the Evening with Witches

We love going to see the witches every year.

 The boys have some favorites.

 This one just may be DJ's favorite because that is him trying to kiss her.

 Grandma Sue joined us on our expedition.

Dinner Guests

We love it when we have guests over for dinner.  

We are super lucky that great grandma Alice came over for dinner tonight.

 I sure love my grandma!

 Grandpa Evan and Grandma Sue also came over.  

 We are so lucky that they live close by and can come visit often,

Zoo Time

We went up to the zoo with our cousin today.

The boys had a great time climbing on the ape.

 They have dinosaurs on display and they really enjoyed seeing these ancient reptiles.

 Climbing on statues is always fun.

 The last couple of times the river otters have been hiding when we visit, but they were out playing this time.  This is one of the boys favorite animals to see.

 Oh you know, just hanging out on a dino today.

 These three handsome boys have so much fun together and enjoy the zoo.

Zion's National Park

We decided to go camping again.  While we were driving Jason looked over at me and said something like, 'What would you think about going down to Zion's to camp?' Yep, that's how we decided where we were going.  The boys had never been there and we were already heading south.

 While Daddy went to the store to grab something we forgot the boys and I saw a rattlesnake.  The boys were screaming in terror so we went in the tent until daddy got back.

 We love our new tent!

 Spending the night by the camp fire is one of our favorites!

 We went hiking the next day.  We called up our good friend and she was able to come join us.
