Sea World and Coronado Beach

We visited Sea World today and loved watching all of the shows and seeing the amazing sea animals.

 DJ's favorite part was touching a dolphin.

 After we visited Coronado Beach.  DJ thought it was pretty cool to be on a beach near where Navy Seals trained.  They collected seashells while we were there.

 We also wrote in the sand.

Midway Air Craft Carrier and Beach TIme

What is the perfect way to spend Memorial Day? On USS Midway!

We arrived in San Diego last night and woke up to spend the day on the Midway.  We were so excited.  The boys loved exploring the ship and seeing all of the amazing sights.

 DJ loved talking to all of the Veterans and listening to their stories.  He had a penny in his pocket that he was going to give to one of the veterans, but he forgot.

 After we went to check out a beach.

 The boys may or may not have had a quick lesson on weathering and erosion while we were on these rocks.

 Al always loves to find wildlife where ever we go and isn't afraid of any thing.

It's Missing

Alex lost a tooth the next morning and was excited for the tooth fairy to come that night.  Unfortunately, we forgot the tooth in our room and so we looked for something to write the tooth fairy a note.  We had to resort to emailing her and the next morning he got his golden dollar.

Adventure Awaits

Well, school has ended so we packed up the car and headed out for a family summer vacation to San Diego.

 The car ride wasn't too bad with movies!

 We stopped the night at Vegas.

 The boys love Vegas and it is fun seeing all of the fun hotels.

 Their favorite was the Bellagio with the garden inside and the water show outside.

 The Venetian is always a fun hotel to go into and see the gondolas.

Alex loves Star Wars so he got an x-wing fighter.

Last Day of Kindergarten

This year has really flown by! It seems like a month ago that they started school and now it is already over.  We loved Ms. Christian and the boys really learned a lot.  We are so happy summer is here and are ready for some amazing adventures.
