Tie Dying

 Grandma wanted to tie dye some shirts for the 4th of July and of course we were in for some fun!

 We had a lot of fun making them.

 The red is more of a pink but we love how they turned out!

Splashing and Learning to Drive

We took daddy to the splash pad tonight and had a blast.

 Daddy taught Alex how to squirt the water at someone with his feet.

 Since we live so close to the splash pad Alex got a little driving lesson.

Cousin TIme

We had a great time with our cousins today.  We splashed around in the pool.

 And played on the swingset.

 We love it when cousins come over!

Date Night

It's been awhile since we have ridden together, but it was fun sitting back and enjoying the scenery.

We went up with our group of motorcycle friends to Maddox and it was a blast.

We love getting out together!

Herriman Reservoir

We took an adventure our to the reservoir today.  We were excited to get in the water and splash around.

Working Hard

 We worked really hard today to get part of our yard ready to plant grass.  The boys had fun helping out for awhile.

After we went to Wendy's and we saw some of our friends there.

What a great day of hard work and fun.

Splash pad and Baseball

We had some friends over to play on our small splash pad.

 DJ decided it was a slip and slide.

 Later we went to the closing ceremonies for baseball.  

Silverlake

We went on an adventure up to Silverlake today.  What a beautiful place!

 We brought a picnic up with us.

 This view was my favorite!

 The boys loved looking out over the lake.

 We got to see lots of artifacts from around the lake.

 The boys pretended they were super heroes.

 We found some sign of beavers in the area.

 I had an amazing adventure with my little ones!

Nature Scavenger Hunt

The boys and I made a list of things in nature and then we were off to the park to gather our items.  They did a really great job searching for things, and we got to take a rest at the playground before we finished our hunt.

 We came home and investigated our loot.

Since it was a got day we came back and cooled off with Popsicle.

Playing and Drawing

We love going to the park by our house!  This silly boy wanted to bring his cowboy hat and gun.

 Alex wanted to cuddle with me the entire time, and I didn't object!

 We have been drawing a lot lately.  It's been so fun seeing how their drawings come out.

 There has also been a lot of scooter riding around our house too.

Mountain Escape

Daddy decided that we needed to get up in the mountains today.

We packed up a picnic and off we went.

 After we ate we went exploring.

 The boys all decided to water a tree together.

 We found a great trail and took many rest breaks.

 Alex did a little ninja training on the nature hike.

 He is super strong.

 The mountains are a great place to sit and think.

 And to be goofy together.

 This part makes this mommy's heart swell with happiness!

 I will never stop loving holding their hands!

 The public trail turned into private land so we bushwhacked our way back to the road. 

 DJ loved finding sitting trees.

 We decided after an afternoon in the mountains we would roast hot dogs for dinner.

 When a fire is going you always have to finish the night with s'mores!

What a perfect Sunday afternoon and evening!
