Just Chatting

We got to skype with mama Ashley and Derek tonight.  We sure love these two!

 Right before we started everything was super low key and the boys were calm and relaxed.

 As soon as these two appear on the iPad the goofiness and craziness instantly comes out.

Sometimes it is hard to hear what is going on during these Skype sessions and Ashley and Derek probably feel sick during and after, but we are so grateful to be able to stay in touch with them being so far away.

It's Fairy Time

About two weeks ago while Alex was going to bed he came and told me that there was something funny in his mouth.  I checked and sure enough, there was a tooth coming in.  

 The tooth in front soon became very loose and wiggly, just hanging on!

 He tried to pull it out (and I tried to get it on video), but to no avail.  He even came and asked me to try to pull it out.  I tried once and he was over trying again.

Well, the silly thing fell out in the night.  Thankfully he didn't swallow it!

 He put his little tooth under his pillow excitedly waiting to see what the Tooth Fairy would bring.  He woke up and found his tooth gone, and in it's place was a gold dollar.

He thought it might be chocolate money, so he tried to peel a wrapper off.  Nope, it is real.

Monster Truck Time

We got tickets to the Monster Truck show.  We have been excited to see which trucks were coming.

 Some of the boys' favorites were there: El Torro Loco, Scooby-Do, NEA Police, Gravedigger, Monster Energy, and Zombie.

 I love hanging out with my men at fun events!

 Zombie was DJ's favorite truck and he asked to get a picture with it in the background.

 Alex can sleep anywhere!  He took a very short nap during the show.

 Silly boy, that's not how you protect your ears.

We had such a fun day hanging out at the Monster Truck show!  

Head Over Heals

 The boys learned how to do headstands this morning.

 We love laughing and playing around and headstands are a great way to do this.

I'm Watching You

This kid is always watching!

New Years

 Our New Years was a little different this year than any other.  Daddy had to work, so the boys and I cuddled up and watched Jurassic World and then called it a night.  We didn't even make it until midnight, but it was a great night with my boys!
