First Practice of the Year

It has been getting warmer lately and so we went outside to have our first practice this year.  

This boy loves ball and I see a lot of nights in the backyard practicing.  Which is perfectly fine with me!

Drawing

DJ has recently become fascinated with drawing.  He has never enjoyed coloring a picture, but drawing on the other hand, he loves.

 He is making people, and I love it!

February Family Dinner Night

Kurt and Shaileen had our monthly family dinner night at there house, it was a pasta bar and very delicious.

 The kids table.  I love that the boys are big enough to sit at the kids table without us there helping them.

Adoption Craft Night

I went to a monthly adoption craft night.  Someone I found through social media online set up a group to do something monthly together.  It is so unlike me to go to things when I don't know people, but I was so happy I went!!!

Ladies Temple Night

This year I have made a goal to go to the temple once a month.  So I organized a ladies temple night with my family.

We went to the Noodle Co. after and all got a different plate and then everyone shared.  It was a great way to taste many new items.

 I came home to this site!  My heart was so full, my boys have the best daddy in the world!!!

Family Bowling Night

Daddy picked us up and headed out to dinner and then bowling.  We love it when daddy surprises us.

 DJ asked if he could be the ball we bowled with and then got on the ground to make himself into the ball.  Silly boy!

 DJ asked a boy that worked there to give him a lesson on how to bowl.  He really wants to bowl 'like a grown up'!

First Swimming Lessons

We signed up the boys for swimming lessons for the first time.  They were so excited to go!  DJ is a little fish and Alex is more hesitate around water.

 DJ didn't want to get out of the pool when it was over, so he stayed in as long as possible.

 They had a great time swimming.

Valentine's Weekend Getaway

 We were able to get away to a timeshare over the weekend.  We were excited to get out into the wilderness.

We went nature tracking, and the boys loved walking in the snow looking for animal tracks.

 We made snow angels.

Happy Valentines Day

We bought some supplies to make our own Valentines.  

 The boys had fun peeling and sticking the cute stickers on the heart.

 I put out a pattern for our other Valentines we made and the boys did really good following it.

I was so excited because I had Valentine's Day off of work so I was able to spend the day with my little true loves that have completely stolen my heart!

 I can't believe how lucky I am so have these two little boys as my Valentines!

 We went around to our families' houses and work to deliver our homemade valentines.

We were lucky because when we surprised Grandpa Evan at his work we got to see Shai and Kurt too.

 We also went to daddy's work but didn't take any pictures.  

After we stopped at great grandma Alice's house.  We went out to lunch with her.

 I couldn't resist getting the boys to blow kisses to their birth families!
