Dino and Airplanes

We traveled up north to a Dinosaur Museum.
The boys love looking at dinosaurs and we got a coupon for 1/2 off so of course we had to go!
We even rode on a dinosaur.
Daddy tried to feed DJ to the big t-rex.
 Checking out the footprints.
 Boys next to the Triceratops.
Of course the boys were drawn to the dinosaurs that were fighting.
If was funny to see the boys checking out the dinosaurs.  DJ kept asking if they were real or not.
There was a room with automated dinosaurs.  Alex loved them but DJ was really concerned that these were actually real dinosaurs, he kept trying to get Alex away because he was afraid they would get out of the fence.
After one museum we decided to go to another since we were in the area.  We didn't realized that it was going to close soon, but we had a good time while we were there.
The boys checking out a gunner seat, they were enthralled with them.
Daddy teaching the boys about the air planes.
 Showing the boys hidden guns.
DJ pretending to fly around like a plane.
What do you do after you spend the day at museums? Go home and play with airplanes.
 What adorable kiddos I have!

Decorating

We have been excited to set up for Christmas.  This is such a wonderful time of the year.
The boys had a lot of fun putting ornaments on the tree.
We started a tradition last year of having the boys birth parents get them an ornament each year.
Alex's ornament from Ashley showed up in the mail a few days before we set up for Christmas so he opened the package to up it on the tree for the year.
It was so cute watching him open the package and get so excited!
It's a little penguin with his name and a Go Utes sign.
We found the fun hats grandma Laura gave the boys last year and had to play with them.

First Big Storm

It was the first big storm of the winter.  DJ loves getting out in the snow and helping.
Yep, they even had a snow fight.

Thanksgiving Blessings

I wanted to get together or Skype with the boys' birth parents today, but unfortunately it is a busy day so we didn't get to see everyone.

Ashley and Derek were able to Skype with us.
We sure love chatting with them.
The boys got really silly because it was super late, but worth Skyping because birth parents are one of my biggest things I am thankful for.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving we spent the day at my parents house.  There were a lot of people to eat and talk with.
I took every few pictures, but I got one with me and my daddy.  Oh man I sure love him and am so thankful for everything about him.
Another person I am super thankful for, We have gotten so close since we have similarities with infertility and adoption, plus I have always been super close to my brother, her hubby.
Alex refused to cooperate and get in the picture, but I am super thankful for my family!!!

Early Thanksgiving

We had an early Thanksgiving with our family.  The boys had a cute little table for kids.  It was fun getting to know some cousins that they don't see too often.
These boys love pie!  Funny things, Alex scraped off all of the pumpkin filling on the pie then started eating it.  I mentioned how crazily he eats it to his birth mom and she said that she eats it just the same way.  So crazy!

Family Photo Shoot

My parents decided that it was time to update their pictures of our entire family.
The one they have up is at least 4 years old because DJ isn't even in it.  The wanted new pictures from each family too, so we went out with my mom and dad and took a couple of shots.

 Grandma and the boys
 Me and my goobers.
I love being silly with my boys!
 And giving them kisses!
We saw some deer in the field and decided to see how close we could get to them.
I wanted to have the boys run after them, but after seeing that two of them looked younger I decided it wouldn't be a good idea because you never know what a wild animal will do especially when they have young around.
Thanks grandma and grandpa for coming out to take our pictures!
