Canyon Time

We went up the canyon to spend some time with family.  We live in such an amazingly beautiful place!  

It's the First Day of Kindergarten

I can't believe that these boys are already old enough to be in kindergarten!  This is a super hard day for me, my babies going to big kid school.

 DJ has been counting down the days until he starts kindergarten.  Yesterday he woke up and the first thing he said was, 'Tomorrow is the big day!' I knew what he went but wanted to confirm so I asked him what he meant and he replied, 'The first day of kindergarten is tomorrow.'

Waiting for the school day to start.  We decided to separate them in different classes because they need to be themselves and not rely on the other one.

After his morning in kindergarten he saw me outside waiting for him and he yelled and ran as fast as he could to me.  This made my little mommy heart leap with joy.  He loved school, but was so excited to see me.

 When Alex arrived in the afternoon I went out and waited with him until he went in for his first day.  He was also very excited!

 After his day I was so happy because again another great day at school, but the joy and excitement when he yelled mommy and the running to me made my day!

 To celebrate the first day of school we went to get shakes.

 Later we worked on their first of I am sure many homework packets.

I was a wreck all day.  My little men are growing up way too fast.  I love that they are learning and growing but it needs to slow down so I can enjoy it.   Just 5 years ago they were both born and now they are in school, so crazy!  I am so grateful for the little men they are growing into.  I am so thankful that I get to be their mom and pray that I can do what I can to help them because their best selves.  They certainly make me better.

GOAL!

We have had two soccer games so far this year and the Fire Dragons have come out on top from both games. 

The boys have really loved going out and playing.

 They are a little slower than most of the kids, but when they catch up to the ball they love getting in it.

Ride for the Fallen

We love participating in the Ride for the Fallen each year.  It is such a special, touching, and emotional way we have helped raise money for families of officers that have died.  We are so thankful there are people out their putting their lives on the line to keep our society safe.

 It's an hour and a half ride up to the state capital.

 I love riding!

 It was fun along with all of the emotions.

Monster Truckin'

We took the boys to the monster truck show tonight.  We had a blast!

Soccer Time

We signed up the boys for soccer.  They have been so excited to start playing!

Hammock Time

Daddy set up the hammock a couple of weeks ago and we love spending time cuddling and swinging!

Kindergarten Check-ups

Well, it's about that time to start school, and these two cuties are both going into kindergarten this year.  We had their check-ups today and they are both healthy and happy little boys.
