Go Jazz Go

We had so much fun at the Jazz game! We figured that we would be in the rafters since the tickets were free and we were right. It was fun watching the game, but my favorite part was watching my little boys having so much fun!
We brought binoculars for the boys to help enjoy the game.
DJ loved sitting by himself and cheering as loud as he could.
It was fun spending time with grandma Sue.
The boys loved the treats too.  DJ would grab huge handfuls of cotton candy and shovel it all in his mouth at once.  It was hilarious to watch!  To say the least, they were hyped up on sugar!
I love spending time with my family!
I am glad that the boys are able to have these fun, memorable experiences!

Scheels

We wanted to hang out with Shai today since it was her last day off.  She suggested we visit a new store, Scheels.  Kurt didn't miss out in the fun, he had an short day of work and joined us.  We had so much fun there.

After you walk in there is a huge fish tank.  There are 3 pillars that connect at the top.  It was fun to see all of the tropical fish.
They have lots of animals out so you can take your picture with them.  It was fun to get up and personal with so many animals.
The boys liked all of the football stuff, especially the huge fingers!
They played with golf club covers too.
We also honed up on our boxing and shooting skills.
We also played a game of bowling.
There is also a ferris wheel inside the store, but Alex was too short to ride it.  Maybe next time.
Who knew a store could be so much fun.

Witches

We went to Gardner Village to check out the witches set up for Halloween.  We had seen the witches briefly when we went on a walk a week earlier and knew we had to go back and spend more time.

This witch is making a magic potion.
Grandma Sue, Kurt, and Shai came with us to enjoy the witches.  We love spending time with family!
It was fun to see all of the different witches. There were so many - camping, kissing, putting out a fire, flying across the sky, and so many more!

I sure love my boys!

It was fun to see all of the pumpkins they have set up everywhere.

We love Halloween time...
 and spending time with family.

Legos

Legos were a big hit up at the condo.

Shai and the boys building a tower.
The older boys got into legos too.  Grandpa E started it off by wanting to create a tower that would touch the ceiling.
I think all of the older boys got into this project.  They had to find the parts that were making the tower fall and fix them.

The final product.
Who would have guessed?

Mountain Memories

Our sister, Hil planned a dinner in the mountains for Sunday. We love spending time in our beautiful mountains! We headed up early so we could have plenty of time to play with our family. It is gorgeous up there and the leaves are starting to change colors.

We loved spending time with family.Daddy and DJ loved hiking around in the rocks.
DJ and Daddy hiked a mountain. They hiked to the top of a big mountain. That is our camp you can see right below them.Daddy took most of the kids in a cave. They loved it!Our family loves to play games, so of course we did plenty of that while we were up there.
DJ loves spending time with Grandpa!
These two are inseparable.
We celebrated Grandpa's and Kailee's birthday up in the mountains. Kailee and Grandpa share the same birthday. We also enjoyed marshmallows.

Fruit

We went over to Grandma Alice's house to pick her peaches and grapes. The boys love helping and running around her backyard. I got to take many of the peaches home. I am going to try my hand at canning.

RAWR

We went on an adventure today to the Dinosaur Museum. DJ has been asking to go see the dinosaurs for a couple of weeks so when we found out it was only $2 today we went. I didn't tell the boys where we were going, but DJ was pretty certain it was to see the dinos. Good thing that is where we went or he would have been a super sad boy!

Mommy and boys looking at the dinosaurs.
DJ and Alex playing in the water area. Once Alex realized there was sand in it he didn't want to play in the water anymore because his hands were dirty.
Alex checking out all of the dinosaurs. The first thing we saw was the paleontologist and he just wanted to watch him clean the bones. Alex's favorite thing was the shark, he cried when we left it.
He loved all of the dinosaur bones, even when they were about to pounce on us.
I LOVE spending time with my boys! I enjoy watching them learn and being able to teach them!
DJ was so excited to see all of the dinosaurs. I don't know what his favorite part was because he seemed to love everything about the place!
After we spent the morning at the museum we stopped by a park to eat lunch and play for a bit.
Grandma Sue brought a treat for everyone, Cotton Candy! After eating it for a while DJ stuck out his hands and screamed 'Ewww, sticky' at everyone and started laughing.
DJ at the park. He loved the slide!
Alex playing at the park. This boys loves to explore.
Here are my boys with their Aunt Shaileen. It is fun to see the love they have for her!
Spending time with family is so rewarding! Thanks for making this a fun and memorable day!

Thoughts

My brother and his wife became proud first time parents today. They were chosen for adoption about 3 months ago. He is a very cute baby! They named him Sawyer Reed, and he has the same birthday as his Daddy. What an amazing birthday present my brother received today, becoming a Daddy! What an amazing experience adoption is! I can't express how excited and happy for them. This is a wonderful gift that not many people can give. 'J', the birth mom is such an exceptional person. As an adoptive parent we see the one side of the spectrum. How blessed we are that this amazing women is so selfless and does what I would consider one of the hardest things in the world, placing their child for adoption. Having two sons with birth families I know that their end of the spectrum is much different. They are so thankful and grateful to have found the perfect family to raise this wonderful child. It is crazy how birth parents and adoptive parents need each other so much. I LOVE it!!! We are so grateful to have 2 wonderful birth families! We are looking forward to meeting Sawyer in person.

Pioneer Day

To celebrate Pioneer Day we had decided to go to Seven Peaks again, but the weather didn't cooperate and it wasn't that warm. So we changed our plans to go bowling, but that ended up not working either because of the boys' naps. We still had fun. Kurt and Shai came over and we played games.

It is nice when Jason gets a day off of work and we can spend some time with him all day and night.
