Camping with Friends

We went camping this past weekend with some friends. We had a lot of fun! We are so glad they invited us.

Alex enjoyed shooting Daddy with a water gun.

We played with water guns,

with cars,with dinosaurs,

in the dirt, and even princesses.

We took some four-wheeler rides.We had a lot of fun together!

Alex enjoyed climbing on rocks,making silly faces,

and hanging out with Mommy.

We had such a great and relaxing time up camping! It was so beautiful up at their property, the leave were changing colors. This is such a fun time of the year. We are so grateful for such wonderful friends!

Farm

We went to Wheeler Farm with some friends this week. The boys love seeing the animals!

DJ loves animals and playing with kids, so this was a perfect adventure for him. All of the other kids that went were older, but he didn't care. He loves hanging out with the big kids and does really well keeping up with them. He played in the playhouse that has been there for ages!

Alex had a great time too. He was a little nervous a couple of times to touch the animals, but he did touch a few. He went up into the playhouse, but soon came down crying because I didn't go up with him.

Here are both of the boys enjoying the day. One of the friends brought bread to feed the duck with. DJ and Alex both started eating it first because we haven't fed ducks all that much, bu they figured it out.All of the boys posing on the tractor.

Snowbird

We decided to go up to Snowbird on Saturday to spend some time up in the mountains and go up the tram to the top, but when we got there it was rainy and really wet. So we decided we would try the tram another day. Since we were already up there we decided to stay and play for awhile.
We rode a pretend horse.

We even rode together.

We walked to a playground and let the boys play. It started to rain, but that was no deterrent to them.

We went on a hike.

DJ loved walking through the woods, and has really good footing up there too.DJ found moose tracks and want to show us.

We saw a squirrel, but it ran away so we tried to call it back. We also saw lots of other little rodents.

We played some more at the playground. We are going to go up there again to play when it is not raining, so we can play some more.Our friend Tanner was there playing with us too.

Alex and DJ are both little monkeys and love to climb.

They had a fun car and plane to ride in.Then we went to dinner.

Tanner and his Mommy and Daddy came too.

We had a great time even though we didn't do what we planned on doing up at Snowbird. Family time is so important to us that it doesn't really matter what we are doing, we always have fun. We we lucky to have our friends up there too. The boys really love hanging out with Tanner.

Splash Pad Day

We went with some friends to the Valley Fair Mall Splash pad this morning. When we got there we found out that the water didn't turn on for an hour so we went inside and played. Then when it was time for the water to turn on we went back outside, but the water still didn't turn on.

One of our friends brought cups and DJ enjoyed pouring water on Alex. Alex was a good sport and actually enjoyed it too.

I love this picture! Alex doesn't even know what's coming.We went home, ate lunch, and took naps then headed off to another splash pad. We met another friend there, but they couldn't stay long.

We had a really fun and wet day with lots of friends!

Camping

We were lucky enough to be able to go camping over night this weekend. We had so much fun! We rode on four-wheelers, caught lizards, played in the sand, rode bikes, played games, and had fun with friends!

Their were only boys up there when we were up there. They did really well together. In fact DJ played with the older boys and they let him tag along with them the whole time.

We are so grateful to have wonderful friends close by that we enjoy spending time with!
