Wolf Creek Weekend

 We planned a get-a-way a while back with our family.  We decided to go to our timeshare up in Wolf Creek.  We had a blast and the trees were breathtaking. 

 

One morning we saw 4 deer cross the golf course just out our window and head into the bushes.  The kids loved seeing them.  Maddie was the first to spot them and she came running in saying, "live animals, live animals outside."  It was funny, she knew they were real, but didn't know what they were.

 

DJ played racquetball with daddy. 

 Jason and all of the boys woke up early Saturday morning and went out golfing.

 There is a pond with some gigantic fish in it.  The boys thought it was fun watching them.

 They have a beach volleyball court and the boys loved playing in the sand.

 Grandma created a scavenger hunt for the kids and they got cool light sticks that they had fun with.

 While DJ and Daddy were at the racquetball court, Alex and Mommy went swimming.

We had so much fun with our family!  It was nice to get away for a weekend and have some fun and make memories!

Fun in the Sun

After naps today we decided to go outside and swim in the pool. The water was perfect!

DJ discovered a new way to slide into the pool, so of course Alex had to try it too. Funny thing, DJ would go really slow so he wouldn't splash on his face, but Alex didn't quite figure that out yet.They also really enjoyed fishing. DJ caught a sea horse and Alex caught an Angel Fish.

We love the warm weather so we can spend the day outside!

Swimming Pool

Ashley got Alex a swimming pool for his birthday. We decided to invite a friend over to play in it today. Jason and I put it put last night so it would have the morning to warm the water up. DJ wanted to go outside all morning, but I successfully kept him inside and happy.

Here are the boys getting into the pool.

We put the slide into the pool and they loved sliding into the water.DJ and Alex playing in the water.

DJ had no hesitation getting into the pool and playing. He loved every second of his time in there today. He slid down the slide about a million times. He enjoyed sitting in the water and playing with the toys.

Alex hesitated going into the pool. When he first got in he wanted to get out again. Soon he got used to it and enjoyed playing in the water and with all of the toys.

I got out simple cups which entertained the boys quite a bit. Here is DJ trying to throw water on the other two boys, but it looks like it is going to get him instead.

They had so much fun playing.

They took a break from the pool for awhile and rode bikes,

played with bubble toys,

and had a water fight.

This picture of DJ sliding cracks me up. It was the first time he went that far in the water.

We had an amazing day with our friend. We are so happy the boys love water so much! We are looking forward to many more water days!

Swimming

We went to Seven Peaks tonight with Grandma Sue, Grandpa E, Madison, and Carson. We had a blast! Here are some highlights.

DJ really enjoyed riding on the tube with Grandma and swimming in the lazy river. He learned how to swim all by himself again. He was swimming last August but hasn't dared to since. What a big boy!

Alex had a fun time with Madison. He loved jumping over the waves, riding on the tube, and floating in the water. He also enjoys going under the water when you count to 3, silly boy!

Swimming with Grandma

We had a blast today at the water park! You are probably sick of pictures from the water park, so I will keep them to a minimum. The boys enjoyed playing in the wave pool, without waves of course. We also had fun playing in the little kid area.

We were happy that Grandma Sue was able to come with us! We sure love her!

They were trying to splash me. That is why the big grins. Silly boys!

I am so lucky to be able to spend all this time with my boys! I am enjoying taking them out on adventures, and by the looks of it, they are enjoying it too.

Another Swimming Adventure

We went to Seven Peaks again tonight. Jason has been super busy with work and school lately and this week he isn't as busy so we went to the water park to spend some time together.

This time we decided to try a slide with the boys. They really enjoyed going down it, but every time DJ went down the tube flipped over. It didn't matter who he was riding with, and he is a very good lap rider too. It was so much fun going out and spending time all together!
