A Day of Fun in the Sun

For the holiday weekend we decided to take our canoe out for a ride in the lake. We hadn't taken it out since DJ was a baby. We were a little concerned on how two 2 year-olds would do in a canoe, but we willing and ready for the challenge. We decided to go to Pineview to
scope it out for later in the month.

We set up our stuff and got in our life jackets and headed out on the water.

We rowed to buoys so the boys could touch them with the paddles.

DJ rowing with DaddyOur family in the canoe. The boys did really good sitting still. We didn't even come close to tipping over.

When we got back to the beach we jumped in the water to play. I swear DJ is part fish! He swims all by himself and could stay in the lake all day!

We ventured back up on the beach to play in the sand. Alex stole Daddy's hat.Alex loved playing in the sand. He even got Daddy, by pouring sand on his legs while he was taking a nap.

DJ enjoys trying to build castles in the sand. He would scoop up all of the sand and then create a castle just to knock it down. Yes, he's all boy!We brought some toys to play with and of course the boys had to get some ball in!
