New Things at the Park

We ended up at the park again to get out some energy and have some fun. There were a couple of new things the boys got into this time.

Alex learned how to climb up the rope ladder.

The boys enjoyed sliding together too!

It is fun seeing how close DJ and Alex are. They really do love each other!

It was a great way to spend the day.

Ride for the Fallen

Jason and I participated for the Ride for the Fallen Officers again this year. It is an amazing event! Over 4,400 people participated.

It is a beautiful ride from Lindon to the Capital.

It is police escorted, so you don't have to worry about any traffic lights.

I love riding with my sweetie!

They said that the group riding was around 7 miles long!

When the first people started arriving at the capital building the end was still at 5400 South!

This is going around south mountain. It is really neat to see all of the bikes.

We listened to many stories about the men and women who gave their lives to protect us.

What a great thing to come together for, helping families that have lost a family member that was an officer.

It is so easy to stereotype people by what they look like, but the people we met and rode with are some of the nicest people out there. I am glad we were able to participate in such an amazing event.

2nd Try a Success

We decided to try the parkway again since we didn't actually make it for a walk the night before. We were better prepared this time, we took bread to feed the ducks with.

Our goal was to walk to 5400 south. We went under the overpass and had a surprise with hieroglyphs. They liked trying to figure out what the pictures were.

There was a park on the walk so on our return to the car we stopped and played for a while.

Our Adventure

We went on the Jordan River parkway last night. The plan was to walk a ways then when we were heading back to stop by Grandma Alice's on the way back to the car. It didn't work like that. As we were passing Grandma's street I looked up there and her garage was open so we headed up there first. She was outside gardening. I was glad we stopped by so we could help her out! After she gave up popsicles for helping out. We love seeing and helping Grandma!

DJ's Love

This little boy can't get enough of baseball. If I would stay outside all day everyday throwing baseballs to him he would be in heaven. He is getting pretty good too.

I am happy that he has found something he loves.

Park Time

We took an outing today to the park. We had a lot of fun. We climbed, swang, slid, rode, ran, and just had lot of fun!

The weather was prefect. We had so much fun playing together. The park was all ours.
