Mommy took her last 2 vacation days for the year and spent some time with us going to some fun places before they get super busy when school gets out.
Our first stop was the zoo.
It was so neat seeing the new lion exhibit! The lion would pace back and forth and then go sit for awhile and pace again. DJ was a little nervous the first time she got close to the window.
What is it about boys and the stinky reptile house?!? Both boys love seeing the snakes and say that is their favorite part.
When we got back to the tigers they were all sleeping, so we decided to ride on the pretend ones instead.
We love to see the seals!
It was fun to play in the splash area for the first time.
There are little pools of water for the kids to play in and then every minute or so it erupts with a bigger blast of water.
Alex had a blast covering the water like the bigger kids and running away.
DJ has always hated splash pads because he doesn't like the water hitting him, but today he got brave and ran through.
We ended the day with ice cream cones.
I am so excited for summer and for our fun adventures coming up!
