Adoption Walk and Antelope Island

We were lucky to be apart of the adoption walk in Ogden this morning.
Kurt, Shai, and Jax went to the walk too.
Me and Alex making silly faces while we waited for the raffle.
Daddy playing with the boys on the walk.
We are very passionate about adoption and love being apart of the community.
 Walking with my favorite boys.
After the walk we went out to lunch with Kurt, Shai, and Jax.
We wanted to go on a hike today, but we weren't sure where.  When we were headed to Ogden this morning Jason came up with going to Antelope Island.
We went to the farm and had a great time exploring, learning, and playing.
 It was so pretty!
We used some of the old tools they used to use.

DJ running through the field.  There was cottonwood falling like snow!
It looked just like snow all over the ground.
Alex stopping to make a wish.
We checked out the horse.
The old trucks we fun to look at and pretend to drive.
Looks like he's a pro, just needs to grow.
I made them stop and take pictures.
After the farm we drove to a trail head of a hike.
The boys did really good hiking, but there were gnats everywhere.
The gnats were out of control and super annoying but we stayed the course and made it to the top of the mountain.
I sure can't get enough pictures of me with my boys.  We were at the top of the mountain and could see the lake all around us.

The island we so beautiful and unique.  The boys enjoyed seeing the bison.
As we were driving on Antelope Island I made the remark, "I have never seen an antelope on this island!" About a minute later an animal jumps across the street right in front of our car, very clearly an antelope! I'm pretty sure it wanted to me to know for sure that there ARE antelope on the island!

The boys making a 'pinky promise' with each other!

After a day of making memories together we came home to a dirty house.  At first I was annoyed the the house was so messy, but I would take spending time with my family over a clean house any day!  I can clean the house anytime, but there is only so many hours in the day for me to spend with the boys, and they are growing up way too fast.
