Heritage Park

We took a bunch of the cousins up to Heritage Park because it was a free day.
The kids were all excited to go.
We got onto the train and had a short ride to the next stop.
Because it was such a busy day everyone had to get off at each stop.
We practiced tilling a garden like the pioneers would.
We learned how to wash clothes like pioneers.
 and iron too.
 We rested for a snack.
There were Mountain Men there and this one talked to us all about his awesome gun.
 The boys are such studs!
We got to go into a tepee.
We got to see some horse.
We love hanging out with our cousins!
We went into a pioneer school.
We wrote on the slates with chalk like they did.
Looks like my sister needs a little more schooling!
We played games like the pioneers did to learn how to milk a cow.
After we went back to grandma's to play a little.
And when we got home we got in our swim suits again to cool off from the hot, fun day.
