I decided that it was about time to get our little pool out and have a swim day!
We got ready in our suits and the boys tried really hard to patiently wait until the pool was full.
We wore our sunglasses, had to protect our eyes. That's what I told them and it is true, but I just love how they look in their glasses!
Yep, I got in my suit too so I could catch a couple of rays while we were out.
They had a blast with our water guns.

Later we had to put the slide into the water.
They both love sliding down into the water, but they try to be so careful so they don't splash on themselves.

We took out our water toys and Alex showed me his catch of the day.

I love Alex's face. He looks so surprised that he caught something. Wait, I think it was a football.
This is the life.
We spent the morning playing in the water and went out again in the afternoon.
DJ and I ended up having a war. He got drenched and called the war off twice, but then resumed after he got warm. He did have one really good shot on me.
We had a really fun day!!!
