The boys went exploring and found the remains of a giant dead fish. Of course they brought it back to camp to show off their find.
We had a little run in with the 'lake'. Venturing out on the dry surface where the lake is suppose to be, the ground started to give away and we had quite a few people sink into the clay muddy earth below. We had a heck of a time getting out and back to the 'shore'.
We went to the north side of the lake where there was still water to play in the waves and have some fun. Well, it was really windy and pretty miserable.
Jason taught all of the kids some fire making skills. Sarah stared her first fire without matches.
We did a little geocaching
And of course we went shooting.
We had a pretty miserable time, but were able to laugh and make memories the entire time. We will never forget the fun times we had on this camping trip because of the crazy conditions.
