Skyping

We got to talk to mama Ashley and Derek on Skype tonight.  Alex loves to talk to them and be silly!  We sure love them and are grateful for our open adoptions!

Homecoming

Tonight is Homecoming for Sarah!

 She got ready at someone else's house so she had to promise to take pictures for us.

Dress Fitting

Sarah is going to Homecoming so we went to find a dress.

 They were all gorgeous on her!

Utah Utes Football Game

We ventured uptown to watch the Utes play football.  

 It was a rainy night, but we all had so much fun!

 This was Sarah's first ever football game. We had watched some on the tv so she knew a bit what was going on. 

 They pulled off a win!

Happy Birthday Daddy

Today was Jason's birthday.  We had made personalized cards for him.  DJ's card was daddy driving a tank.

 Alex's card was about daddy sleeping and Alex cuddling with him. 

 We gave him two packs of bullets.  Unfortunately, they didn't fit any of his guns he had.  

Good thing I got him a new gun that they would work in.

 Sarah got Jason an awesome Utes shirt.

All Hands on Deck

Jason found a recipe that he wanted to try out.  The boys are always want to help cook.  The recipe was delicious and the many loving hands to help prepare it was fabulous.

 After dinner we sat down and got some homework done.

Silver Lake

We drove up to Silver Lake today and decided to go hiking.  What a pretty place!

I'm grateful for this beautiful world we live in, the chance I have to be a mommy to these two little boys, and also to host an amazing girl for a school year.

Go Green Dragons!

The boys love going to their soccer games!  They both continue to improve in their skills.  Alex is amazing at passing the ball to his teammates and DJ loves to find the open spots and call for the ball.

Bouncing Back

We decided we needed another Lagoon day.  It was the first day of Frightmares so we had to go.
