It's fair time so we decided that after work/school today we would head straight up town to state fair.
The boys worked on a farm.
They fed the pigs,
milked the cow,
planted and watered a seed,
drove a tractor around,
and filled it up with gas when it was empty,
and we combed the sheep. For all of our hard work we earned $1 that we spent on granola bars.
The boys were really into the cut-outs. Every time Alex's saw one he wouldn't pass it by without taking a picture first.
We loved seeing all of the farm animals! This pig was bigger than both my boys put together!
I love DJ's expression here.
That's a lot of bacon!
Alex was more hesitate than DJ when it came to touching the animals, but here he made a friend.
Daddy and the boys checking out the dairy cow.
We love the goats! We saw a tiny baby goat walking around and Alex went right up and hugged it.
We watched people fish in the pond, and even saw someone reel in a whopper.
One booth had tons of bubbles everywhere and the boys had fun trying to pop them.
We stopped and listened to music for awhile.
Alex about threw a fit when we almost passed by the carrots without taking a picture.
It was fun to see the horses working.
We let the boys go on one ride. We all decided the giant slide would be it. It was a long climb all the way to the top, but sure worth it.
We had an amazing adventure tonight as a family!
