Getting Ready

We are excited for tomorrow and are getting ready.

Time for a Check-up

 We had an appointment for a wellness check-up for DJ today.

 I was definitely out of control taking pictures of everything.

DJ was so excited because the check-up was like the ones Doc McStuffins gives.

 He is growing so tall.

 He had an eye test.  It was so cute!  When the nurse got to some of the smaller pictures DJ said that they were something small.  Later he explained to me that he didn't know what the shape but that he could see it.  He has perfect eye-sight.

This boy loved to talk!!!  When someone will sit and listen to him, it's his favorite thing in the world.  He was telling jokes to the doctor and having a great conversation.  He even told the doctor that he was wrong about something.  The doctor was laughing so hard, it was great!

 While we were waiting for the nurse to come back in to give shots DJ told me to lay on the table because he was going to give me a check-up.  It was so funny when the nurse walked in and I was getting examined by Alex.

Learning Lots

Our last swimming lesson.  We tried to sign them back up but the classes were already full.  We are probably going to do a couple semi-private lessons so they don't loose what they have learned.

 I love seeing my boys learning and feeling so confident in the water.

Ferris Wheel

We had to go to our favorite store and I let the boys both ride with daddy on the ferris wheel.  They are sure lucky to have such a great daddy!

We Love Swimming

It has been really fun watching the boys in their swimming lessons.

 They worked on a lot of skills and are really comfortable in the water.

 They were working on floating with a kick-board and did really well.

 Swimming makes bed time really easy!

We went swimming all together the other day and we could really see the improvement they have made in swimming.

Getting Ready

We are getting the boys ready for the summer!  We want to go hiking this summer, but the boys need to get their legs ready.  I have really enjoyed going on our nightly walks with my boys.

A Special Visit

We made dessert tonight for special visitors.

 DJ wanted to draw pictures of them.

 It was mama Brie and Ian.

We are so grateful for our open adoptions! All of our boys' birth parents mean so much to us!
