Mariana Arrives in Utah

Mariana's plane came in really late tonight, but we decided it was important to let the boys stay up late so we could all be there to greet her.  We are so happy she is finally here!

Weeding

I have always HATED weeding, but today when I was weeding these beauties came over and helped me.  Every time I put my shovel in the ground Lucy would be right there looking for critters and worms.  It was such a relaxing and nice experience.  Next time I weed I think I will pull her out of the coop and have her be my helper again.

Bailey's Egg Plant

We have decided to build a new chicken coop.  The old one is falling apart and we want it fully enclosed so we can stop feeding all of the wild birds.  Grandpa Ed and Grandma Dianne came down to help us out.  We have a couple of details left but it is pretty much finished.

 

 

 

 

Another tooth Bites the Dust

Alex lost another tooth and the tooth fairy came and gave him a gold coin.  His tooth was a little wiggly and he was goofing around with mommy and she accidentally hit his face and made his tooth really loose.  Soon after it fell out. 

Rooms are Ready

We made some welcome baskets for Mariana and Michelle.  Their rooms are all ready, so now the waiting begins.  We are so excited to finally meet them!

Painting

I have a couple of projects to get done before the girls come on exchange.  One is to paint these crates, and DJ came out to help me.  He is such a good helper!

Enjoying the Night

It's been beautiful at night so we stayed up a little later than normal and enjoyed the nice weather together.
